The Black Jinjos first appeared in Banjo-Tooie as one of the ten Jinjo Families. The Black Jinjo Family is the largest in all Jinjo village, containing nine members. The reason the family is so big could be because they are harder to see than other Jinjos, making it harder to rescue all of them.
