Banjo-Kazooie Wiki

The Gameboy Advance is a 32-bit handheld video game console developed, manufactured and marketed by Nintendo released in 2001. Several games in the Banjo-Kazooie franchise released for this console. Despite being owned by Microsoft at the time, Rare was allowed to continue to develop games for Nintendo's portable consoles as Microsoft did not have a direct competitor at the time. However, these games were published by THQ and not Nintendo.

Banjo-Kazooie Games[]

  • Both Banjo-Kazooie games released for the Game Boy Advance are also playable on the Nintendo DS and its 'Lite' revision, as these consoles featured backwards compatibility with the Game Boy Advance.
