“You've caught a Glowbo! They're supposed to have magical powers...”
Jamjars, Banjo-Tooie

Glowbos are collectibles found in Banjo-Tooie. They are small, pink magical creatures which give Humba Wumba and Mumbo Jumbo their powers. The Glowbos serve to replace the Mumbo Tokens that were used in Banjo-Kazooie.

There are two Glowbos per world, one for each shaman. Luckily, the Glowbos can usually be found close to Wumba's Wigwam or Mumbo's Skull. There is also one Mega-Glowbo hidden in Hailfire Peaks that can only be accessed via Glitter Gulch Mine. Giving the Mega Glowbo to Humba Wumba in her wigwam outside the Witchyworld entrance allows Kazooie to transform into Dragon Kazooie.

In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, a Jinjo says they were walking on the volcano in Nutty Acres, when he "accidentally" kicked a Glowbo into a pool and asks Banjo to retrieve it. Unlike the Glowbos in Banjo-Tooie, this Glowbo does not move.

Banjo-Pilot

Glowbos can also be found on certain tracks in Banjo-Pilot. If shot with the standard gun, a series of boost rings will appear but each one must be hit for the next one to appear (going up to 4). Also, an even rarer Glowbo is the Green Glowbo, which, when shot, produces a yellow super boost ring that makes you go all around the track automatically.
