Hothands are giant fiery hands that hide inside small crevices of the walls on the lava side of Hailfire Peaks. These lava creatures will pop out and try to grab Banjo when he gets too close.
Their behavior is generally predictable and they can easily be avoided, but Ice Eggs and Grenade Eggs can also be used to dispatch them. Kazooie's Wonderwing is also effective to plow through a string of Hothands all at once, but for some reason they will all die without vanishing if Banjo is not close enough. Also, these annoying creatures can be beaten using Mumbo Jumbo's wand attack and Snowball Banjo's ice roll attack.
Grenade Eggs up close can defeat a hot hand, but also it will damage the bear and bird the cost of 2 honeycombs.
