Jigsaw Puzzles were used by Banjo and Kazooie to access new levels and in one case an upgrade. In Banjo-Kazooie, 11 different Jigsaw Puzzles were hidden away inside Gruntilda's Lair. A list of them are as follows:
- Mumbo's Mountain - Right outside the world entrance. 1 Jiggy Needed
- Treasure Trove Cove - Right of the Grunty Mural. 2 Jiggies Needed
- Clanker's Cavern - Left of the Grunty Mural, Shock Jump needed. 5 Jiggies Needed
- Bubblegloop Swamp - Near Clanker's Cavern entrance, puzzle and Swimming required. 7 Jiggies Needed
- Freezeezy Peak - Near Bubblegloop Swamp entrance protective leg gear or toughened skin required. 8 Jiggies Needed
- Gobi's Valley - In Lava area. 9 Jiggies Needed
- Mad Monster Mansion - Near Rusty Bucket Bay entrance. 10 Jiggies Needed
- Rusty Bucket Bay - In tunnel next to Rusty Bucket Bay entrance. 12 Jiggies Needed
- Click Clock Wood - Nearby the entrances to Clanker's Cavern and Treasure Trove Cove. Swimming needed. (Jiggy Pad needs to be activated with Jiggy Pad Switch, which is located within Click Clock Wood's Entrance Room). 15 Jiggies Needed
- Gruntilda's Picture - Blocking Dingpot. 25 Jiggies Needed
- Honeycomb Picture - Hidden behind the 882 Note Door. 4 Jiggies Needed
The minimum required Jiggies to complete all of the puzzles is 98 Jiggies, leaving 2 Jiggies left.
