The Shock Spring Jump is an ability learned in Treasure Trove Cove which utilizes Shock Jump Pads to rocket Banjo and Kazooie into the air, allowing them to reach new heights that is too high for the Flap Flip.

Stand on a pad and hold to use the move, and tilt the control stick to alter the direction of the jump. Being that this move is performed by Kazooie, Banjo cannot use it on his own after splitting up, while Kazooie on the other hand can jump to even greater heights without Banjo's extra weight. This makes it easier to reach certain hard to reach areas in the game. This classic game feature is exempt from Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. the Shock Spring Jump is Banjo and Kazooie's up Special attack. Like in its original appearance, the bear and bird gain vertical height after jumping off a Shock Jump Pad. The pad itself damages opponents underneath it.
