Giant's Lair is the fan-given name of a test level believed to be an early version of Grunty's Lair. It takes place at a towering temple with multiple doors, situated somewhere in an oasis-like area.

Many players had gotten Giant's Lair confused with Mount Fire Eyes, another beta level from Banjo-Kazooie. Its theme tune (titled "Temple") would eventually be remixed and used for the Donkey Kong 64 level, Fungi Forest, which was originally yet another beta level from Banjo-Kazooie, Fungus Forest.
