The Xbox 360 is a home console released by Microsoft in 2005 as a successor to their original Xbox console. Several games in the Banjo-Kazooie series released for this console. These were the first Banjo-Kazooie games released for Microsoft consoles after the company's acquisition of Rare in 2002. As of 2022, this is the most recent console to receive an original Banjo-Kazooie game. The console was succeeded by the Xbox One in 2013, and discontinued in 2016.
The successor to the Xbox 360, the Xbox One, as well as its successor, the Xbox Series X/S, are backwards compatible with the Banjo-Kazooie games released for the 360.

There was an Xbox 360 Easter Egg in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, during the introduction story when Kazooie was playing her video game console, which is an Xbox 360 system. She appears to be playing Hero Klungo Sssavesss Teh World on the console. Also, in the N&B Start menu you can see a stack of Xbox 360's and become more apparent if you move your cursor to multiplayer.
