The Xbox One is a home console released by Microsoft in 2013 as a successor to the Xbox 360 console. While no games in the Banjo-Kazooie series released for this console, Rare Replay, a compilation game including all previous main series titles, was released. Additionally, the console's backwards compatibility features and the introduction of Xbox Game Pass means that all Banjo-Kazooie games released for the Xbox 360 are playable on the Xbox One, in higher quality.
Two revisions to the Xbox One, the Xbox One S and Xbox One X, were released in 2016 and 2017 respectively. The One S was intended to be a sleeker, more visually appealing revision while the X featured a similar form factor to the S but featured improved hardware and native support for 4K resolution. The original Xbox One model was discontinued in 2016. The Xbox One was succeeded by the Xbox Series X/S in 2020, with the Xbox One S and X models being discontinued in 2020.
