The Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, referred to collectively as the Xbox Series X/S, are a pair of home consoles released by Microsoft simultaneously in 2020 as a successor to the Xbox One. The two consoles are essentially the same, with both using the same user interface and controllers, and supporting the same library of games, however the Series S was created as a less powerful, more affordable alternative to the Series X. Additionally, the Series S features a different design and lacks a disc slot for physical games.
As of 2022, no Banjo-Kazooie series games have been announced or released for the Series X/S, however, all games in the series released on previous Xbox consoles are playable through backwards compatibility and Xbox Game Pass, in higher quality.
